Today was a mess. Not necesarily a bad mess, but a LONG mess where we definitely met for too long again. After about 5 hours we had come up with several ideas that all ran into the same problem. We tried to create a dialogue system that properly would teach the player what they need to do in the game while also having a failure mechanic that didn’t hurt the player too much, as they are meant to learn. We didn’t really come up with anything. We came up with MANY ideas but I think we all left a bit frustrated today. That’s bound to happen, as making and designing games is incredibly frustrating.
